BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. -- An early morning fire at Affordable Golf Carts destroyed several golf carts and left others with heat damage.
The Bonita Springs Fire Rescue was called to Affordable Golf Carts around 1:30 a.m.
According to fire crews on scene, the fire happened in a gated parking lot where the business keeps the golf carts. None of the building was damaged but 3 golf carts were engulfed in flames and 6 additional golf carts suffered heat damage.
Fire crews said nobody at the business was hurt. When 4 In Your Corner arrived on scene 2 employees from Affordable Golf Carts were there assessing damage.
The state fire marshal was called to investigate.
