NAPLES, Fla. -- A fearless deputy was able to safely escort an alligator off a Naples road last weekend.
According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, Corporal Diaz helped rescue a 4-5 foot alligator from the roadway on Pine Ridge Road near Goodlette-Frank Road around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.
The gator was safely directed to a pond just off the roadway.
