NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Deputies say a confirmed gang member was among four arrests in a Palmona Park drug bust on Thursday.
According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, a months-long undercover investigation led to a search warrant at a home on Clark Street. After a thorough search, detectives discovered 6.7 grams of Fentanyl, 12.1 grams of Meth, and 5.8 grams of Crack Cocaine inside the residence.
Arrested were:
19-year-old Trinnity Gaskins, charged with Sale of Fentanyl and Possession of a Controlled Substance
51-year-old Teresa Botten Edwards, charged with Possession of Cocaine
52-year-old Charles Zammerilla, charged with Sale of Fentanyl within 1000ft of a church/school and Possession of a Controlled Substance
25-year-old Quinn Stafford, charged with Sale of Fentanyl within 1000ft of a church/school, Trafficking in Fentanyl, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Sell, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell, Possession of a Weapon and/or Ammo by a Convicted Felon, and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance without a Prescription
Deputies say Stafford is a known violent offender and documented gang member with a very lengthy criminal history including multiple charges of robbery, battery, fleeing and eluding, hit and run, larceny, burglary and resisting arrest.
