PUNTA GORDA, Fla. --- TEAM Punta Gorda's Maritime Committee is hosting a free one-day clinic for kayaking.
The clinic will be held Sunday, March 25 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Isles Yacht Club on the 1700 block of W. Marion.
There's no reservations required and is open and free to the public. Various types of kayaks will be available for demonstrations and guest speakers will provide safety instructions and handouts.
Light refreshments will be served, along with a raffle for a state-of-the-art kayak accessory.
Participants will learn how to paddle a kayak, how to buy or lease a kayak and more.
