FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Fort Myers Police Department, Crimestoppers, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and several other law enforcement organizations participated in the first annual "Missing Person’s Day" on Saturday at Fort Myers High School.

People received information about services available to help locate missing loved ones. Guests also met with agencies that assist people impacted by the disappearance of a loved one.

Services offered ranged from fingerprinting for children to completing missing person reports.

The FMPD plans to make this an annual event in hopes of offering assistance to people seeking to resolve a missing person case.
