One of the victims explains to Fox 4 what happened.

Jeff Davis’ truck was the first to be hit in the accidents last night. He says the driver was swerving onto the sidewalks.

After hitting his vehicle, the driver preceded down the road.

“I put it in drive an said no your not getting away tonight,” said Jeff Davis.

As Davis tried to track down the license plate number, he says the driver ran into another car just shy a mile from his home

“How many people need to get hurt or injured or vehicles recked in order for something to be done,” asked Davis.

Jeff Davis is a local business owner, now having to repair is work truck.

“It’s unfortunate, but like my dad always says vehicles and stuff like that can be replaced, a life can’t, ” says Davis.

He says, all in all he’s relieved because many people haven’t been as fortunate to survive an accident like this.

“Luckily last night all of us walked out without a scratch but, that doesn’t always happen, it doesn’t always happen,” said Davis.

Rene Turgeon has been arrested on 11 counts of reckless driving.

He’s scheduled to be in court on December 12th, 2019.
