FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The Fort Myers city council will hold a special meeting Monday. They're voting on a new home for the Fort Myers Police Department.

The new headquarters would be the former News-Press building on Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard.

If the measure is approved, the city would buy the building for $9.2 million, plus $138,000 in fees.

That meeting will be at 5:15 at city hall.
