This city of Fort Myers will soon have new technology made to help solve shootings. It's called Shot Spotter.
Fort Myers City Council approved funding for Shot Spotter, which can detect gunfire and determine where the shots came from. The system uses sensors installed on buildings on lamp posts. The sensors are used to pinpoint the location of the gun fire.
The whole systems costs around $94,000,
