TALLAHASSEE, Fla — Florida has become the first state in the country to vaccinate more than 500,000 individuals 65 years of age or older, according to Governor Ron Desantis's office.
The governor's office says this accounts for nearly 60% of total vaccinations in the state.
Currently, state officials are working on a registration system to make getting the vaccine in Florida smoother.
