LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Bad news at the pump: Gas prices could inch higher as we get closer to the Fourth of July.
Florida could see prices reach $2.60 a gallon, mainly because of the growing tensions between the U.S. and Iran.
Pump prices already went up by 11 cents last week, in response to a $5 per barrel increase in crude oil.
According to AAA, In the Fort Myers-Cape Coral market, we're seeing an average of $2.49 per gallon, compared to the statewide average of $2.53.
Naples made AAA's list of the most expensive gas. It came in at $2.59.
And Punta Gorda made the list for the least expensive gas at $2.48.
