FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Five suspects are in custody in connection to the murder of a Fort Myers man early Sunday morning.
The arrests were made Tuesday at several locations by Fort Myers Police.
Arrested were:
- 27-year-old Taquan Brown of Fort Myers
- 22-year-old Mario Benitez of Cape Coral
- 22-year-old Cheyenne Marron of Fort Myers
- 20-year-old Edey Cardenas of Fort Myers
- 21-year-old Roger Ludenas of Fort Myers
All five suspects have been charged with: Second Degree Murder, Attempted Second Degree Murder, Armed Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery.
Police say the group is responsible for the fatal shooting of Daryl D. Scott on Louise Avenue around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
