PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- A death investigation is underway in the River Club community after reports of an electrocution.
According to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office, it happened near the intersection of OakView Drive and Westchester Boulevard Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies say a man was clearing a piece of property when it happened.
The victim has been identified as 43-year-old Leslie Morse. A co-worker on the scene at the time was uninjured.
There is no indication anything criminal occurred at the scene.
FPL is on scene for safety reasons.
