LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — An East Lee County High School student was arrested for sending a threatening text message.
Carlos Gutierrez, 18, sent a student who attends Dunbar Middle School a threatening message.
The student notified a School Resource Officer of the threat.
The Fort Myers Police Department commends the student for “seeing something and saying something”.
Police believe there is no danger to any students or the public.
