CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Port Charlotte man has died after a crash that happened a little over two weeks ago.
Florida Highway Patrol says 72-year-old Edward Surette died at Lee Memorial Hospital on Tuesday from injuries in the crash.
It happened on September 3rd on el Jobean Road at the intersection with Toledo Blade Boulevard.
Troopers say Surette was driving westbound when he crossed the intersection across the eastbound lanes and crashed into a tree.
