CAPE CORAL, Fla. --- Cape Coral Police responded to an incident at Seahawk Park where a dog was found tied to a pole.
The dog was found lying on the concrete spectator area of the park without any water or anyone nearby. The abandoned dog was in a shaded area protected from direct sunlight.
Officer Anzalone is the one who located the dog in the park. The officer just recently had fame on Facebook when he found a loose dog a couple of weeks ago.
Officer Anzalone sat down on the ground and took his time with the skittish dog, in order to build its trust.
The dog was later released to Lee County Animal Control.
