ESTERO, Fla. — Disney on Ice is making its way back to Southwest Florida.

Fox 4 spoke with performer Deanna Valez she tells us what we should expect.

Amy Wegman: We know Disney on Ice travels all over the country, how does it feel to be performing back in your home state?

Deanna Valez: Yes, it’s been quite a break for a while and we're so excited to be back out there and performing for you all it's been a really amazing experience being back out there and having you know limited crowds and it's been really exciting.

Amy Wegman: The pandemic slowed down these types of events for an entire year, how does it feel to be back on the ice?

Deanna Valez: It's honestly Garrett all ages I really see that there's something for everybody in our show but they'll see it's about princesses and heroes, so you'll really see all different characters from classics and some more modern movies.

Amy Wegman: What advice would you give to kids who want to be just like you?

Deanna Valez: Just follow your dreams and do whatever you can to achieve them because you can make it possible.
