FORT MYERS, Fla.-- Fort Myers Police are investigating a death outside a Publix on Monday.
Police say it happened at the store on Summerlin Road, near Colonial Boulevard. Multiple police officers and the medical examiner were on scene for several hours.
According to Fort Myers Police, a deceased male was found in the driver's seat of a car. The registered owner of the vehicle is listed as a missing person out of Lee County.
An official identification of the body is still pending.
Police say there was no evidence of foul play.
