Crime rates are down for Cape Coral according to Cape Coral Police

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — The Cape Coral Police Department says you can credit a few things, for a lower crime rate this year.

The department says violent crime is down nearly 15 percent and property crime is down almost 20 percent.

The department says people are watching out for each other officers are more visible, and the Juvenile Enforcement initiative is working.
