Convicted felon found with drugs and weapon at North Fort Myers home

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Lee County Sheriffs Office responded to an altercation at home on Hart Drive.

When deputies arrived, they initiated an investigation at the home of Daequan Herring, 26, and obtained a search warrant.

After searching the residence, deputies discovered 11.8 grams of Molly (MDMA/Ecstasy), 12.2 grams of Crack Cocaine, 18.1 grams of Fentanyl, 18.1 grams of Cocaine and a .38 caliber Colt revolver.

Herring is a convicted felon and was arrested and charged with Trafficking Cocaine and Fentanyl, Trafficking, and Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon.
