CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- Commissioners in Charlotte County have approved a $100,500 tax incentive to a company that builds flying sports cars.

The incentive supplies an employment incentive to Samson Motors. Inc. equal to $1,500 per employee, for up to 23 high wage jobs created in January 2020, followed by 22 employees in 2023 and 2027.

The money comes from a fund created in 2011 dedicated to funding future economic incentives.

The company is investing in Charlotte County with their SwitchBlade flying sports car manufacturing facility.
