CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Cape Coral City Council will discuss letting the city manager start the renewal negotiations with Waste Pro.
The city's first contract with the company started in 2010. Then it was renewed through next September.
Now, there's a potential a five-year renewal if both the city and Waste Pro agree to it.
That would run through September of 2025.
The city has until the 30th to let Waste Pro know its decision to renew or not. But the city staff recommends it does.
City Council meets Monday, September 16th at 4:30 PM.
