CAPE CORAL, Fla. — The City of Cape Coral has launched a website, to keep residents informed on the Yacht Club Community Park improvements that are being funded in part by the Parks GO Bond.

According to the City, visitors can sign up for news and updates that will be delivered directly to their email inbox.

The website includes project renderings and the approved concept plan for the project. A construction timeline will be added to the website when it is available.

The goal of the website is to provide accurate information about the construction project.

City Council approved the Yacht Club Community Park concept plan in October 2020.

The plan includes moving the boat ramp to the yacht basin area, an expanded beach area, a parking garage, a harbormaster and police marine unit building, seawall replacement, landscaping, and a barrier for yacht basin customers.

The estimated cost of improvements is about $36 million with about $14 million of the cost being funded by the Parks GO Bond.
