CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office took to social media to warn parents about THC-infused candy.
“Without looking closely, you would never know that these candies, that bear a striking resemblance to ordinary candy, are THC infused edibles, “the sheriff’s office posted.
They are asking parents, grandparents, and caretakers to be vigilant.
They say children would know the difference.
In 2018, five Florida students were hospitalized after a fellow student supplied them with THC-infused candy.
