BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. -- One man traveled from Southwest Florida to show support for the 17 victims of Wednesday’s school shootings.
Bob Ossler is a chaplain for the Cape Coral Fire Department. After seeing this tragic news Wednesday night, he knew he wanted to help.
He says there’s no greater feeling than trying to comfort people during such a tough time. “Here to bring comfort and love and share a hug, a prayer, or just be there to listen, a shoulder to lean on, it’s so important.”
He says even as chaplain for decades, nothing prepares you for this.
