PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. — Tomorrow morning, a Port Charlotte Family will have a celebration of life, for the teenager who died trying to protect his sister.
The family said goodbye to Khyler Edman, yesterday, at First Alliance Church. More than 300 people were at the funeral.
In his obituary, Khyler's family wrote, he was known for always putting other people first.
Investigators say that's what he did last week when he defended his little sister from a man who broke into their house.
Tomorrow's event will be at the Harbor Heights Civic Center from 11 am to 2 pm.
