NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Detectives were called to a Wells Fargo branch in North Fort Myers on Friday, after several reports of customer issues with the ATM.
According to a Lee County Sheriff's Office incident report, the ATM location in question is on NE Pine Island Road, just west of U.S. 41.
A bank employee contacted an ATM technician, who located the device in the ATM and handed it over to bank employees, who turned it in to investigators.
The case is still under investigation.
