CAPE CORAL, Fla — A Cape Coral man was arrested Tuesday night after punching an umpire in the face during a softball game.
Police say they were called to the Northwest Sports Complex for a disturbance with injuries around 8:30 pm.
They say Aaron Charles Dvorak came to the plate to complain about a strike call the umpire made while the game was being played.
The two argued, and Dvorak ended up punching the umpire in the face and injured his lip.
Police say Dvorak was ejected from the game and ended up leaving the park.
He was arrested for Battery on a Person 65 years or older.
