CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- A Cape Coral man is facing burglary and grand theft charges after investigators found him hiding in a closet when they arrived to question him.

22-year-old Dylan Espinoza is facing 2-counts of Burglary to a Vehicle and 2-counts of Grand Theft.

Investigators say tips from social media postings helped identify Espinoza.

The charges stem from an incident on January 24th, in which two vehicles were burglarized and two children's bicycles were stolen.

Those tips led investigators to Espinoza's residence on NE 12th Avenue. When officers arrived, they witnessed Espinoza run from the lanai into the home, and later found him hiding in a bedroom closet.

Espinoza was also arrested and released one week earlier for his role in a stolen SUV in Cape Coral.
