FORT MYERS, Fla — A Fort Myers woman says she was nearly hit by a bullet fired from her upstairs neighbor.
Lee County Deputies were called to the Fountains at Forestwood apartments on Brantley Road Monday night.
A woman living in the downstairs apartment said she heard a bang and felt something whiz by her. She saw a bullet hole in the ceiling and bits of drywall around her apartment.
Deputies found a shell casing on a couch. They went upstairs to the apartment above the victims, but there wasn’t anyone inside.
The police report says bags of marijuana were found in the upstairs apartment.
The woman was not hurt, but she told 4-In-Your-Corner she intends to press charges.
