FORT MYERS, Fla. — We now have more information on what lead to an arrest in a Fort Myers.
The Fort Myers police held a press conference this afternoon in which they said this year new detectives were assigned to work the 2016 murder of Heyzel Obando.
The TV show cold justice agreed to come in and help solve the case.
During the investigation, detectives were able to interview 50 additional witnesses including Obando's boyfriend, Earl Joyner, who had refused to give a statement until this time.
