The 45th Annual Culligan City of Palms Classic kicked off Monday, December 18th, at the Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers, featuring top high school athletes from across the country.
The nation's number one high school basketball tournament continues through Saturday, December 23rd, and this is the chance for some of the athletes to compete outside of their communities for the first time.
More than 530 players from this tournament have advanced to NCAA Division 1 competition, and 99 players have advanced to play in the NBA.
Hundreds of coaches and scouts use this tournament for recruitment, too.
