2021 Law Enforcement Torch Run endpoint changed

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office announced the date for the 2021 Law Enforcement Torch Run.

The run will be held on Wednesday, April 21st at approximately 9:00 am.

It will begin at the Publix located at Punta Gorda Crossings, located at 2310 Tamiami Trail, at the corner of 41 and Airport Road.

The run will travel northbound across the 41 bridge, making a stop at the Charlotte Harbor School to greet the students and a quick water break.

It will then continue north on Tamiami Trail ending the run at the Publix at Port Charlotte Crossing, located at 4265 Tamiami Trail in Charlotte Harbor.

The Charlotte County Sheriffs Swat Team will be participating along with FHP, FWC, Punta Gorda PD, and Charlotte Correctional Institute.

Bicyclists are Permitted.

Torch Run shirts will be available for sale the day of the Run. Shirts can also be purchased before the run.

  • Cotton shirts are $15.00.
  • Men's Dry Fit Shirts $20.00.
  • Women's Dry Fit Shirts $20.00.
  • Women's Racerback $20.00, Ball Caps $10.00.
