Lee and Collier County elections officials want to make sure you have the right materials with you if you plan to vote, and suggest bringing the following items on Election Day:

Don’t leave home without your ID. There are 12 acceptable types that voters can use in Florida. If you do forget, you can still vote but you will have to fill out what's called a provisional ballot, and that can take up extra time at the polls.

Bring your filled-out sample ballot to help you get through the voting process. Deciding a head of time and having your choices available to look at can help speed up the process.

Make sure you go to the correct polling place.

On top of all else, the one thing you’re going to want to bring is patience. Please remember that people working the polls are volunteers. Thank them.
