FORT MYERS, Fla -- Early voting polling locations open up Monday across Florida.
Glades County is the only Southwest Florida county where early voting will not start Monday. It will instead begin October 24th.
Hours also vary by county.
For early voting, while you are required to vote in your county, you are not required to vote in your precinct. This makes it an ideal option for those who want to vote in-person, but want to do so closer to work or school. It's also a great option if you simply are not going to be able to do so on Election Day.
The start of early voting also brings more options to drop off your vote-by-mail ballot in-person, with secure drop boxes at each location.
