CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — A motorcyclist has been declared dead after a dump truck crash today.
The Dump Truck was stopped on the left turning lane for a red light on Country Road 74.
The motorcycle was stopped directly in front of the dump truck and when the light changed green the truck accelerated forward and collided with the motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead on the scene.
