CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- We've learned a teen hit while riding his bike in Port Charlotte has died after being taken off life support.
13-year-old Dylan Rose was riding his bike Wednesday night on Dorchester Street near Kearney Avenue when he was hit by a car from behind.
Thursday night, dozens honored him at a vigil at Conway Park.
Florida Highway Patrol has charges pending against the driver, 80-year-old Joshua Salazar.
