LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Harriet the Eagle has laid the first egg of this nesting season!
The event took place at 3:24 p.m. Sunday on the Southwest Florida Eagle Cam.
M-15 is being a doting dad and keeps checking on Harriett and the egg.
The bald eagle pair has had 3 eaglets together over the last two seasons.
According to the Center for Conservation Biology, eagles can lay up to 3 eggs per season.
