Fox 4 is pushing for more information about a Cape Coral homebuilder. The company seems to have vanished, in the middle of building several homes, and now more people are coming forward, saying they're owed tens of thousands of dollars.

When we initially did this story, we thought we were talking about 5 or 6 homeowners with allegations against the one builder. But in the last 24 hours we've been inundated with new and similar allegations.  So we're trying to track down sub-contractors and investors, and speaking with homeowners, like the person who tells Fox 4 that he doesn't know what he's going to do.

You wouldn't know it by looking at one property, with the exposed wires and the heaping piles of trash, that it is someone's dream house.  Even more telling is that it's supposed to be move in ready in about 30 days.  The property owner, who wasn't available for an on camera interview, tells Fox 4 that work on the house abruptly came to an end a few months ago.  He claims Aranda Homes took his $50,000 and left him with nothing but a mess and property liens from material suppliers.

Tuesday, Four in Your Corner told you Robert Pott's story.  He too says, he had a contract with Aranda Homes to build a new house, but the company did half the work and took all his money.

A number of property owners tell Fox 4 that Aranda seems to have vanished at some point in the last couple months.  Their phone number is disconnected, and there's a new company in their office space.

The company is actually more than 40 years old, but in 2014, it underwent a financial restructuring.  According to a news release, a North Palm Beach company took over Aranda, saying the new investment, "as well as new leadership, strategic, and operational direction will allow for financial success and future growth."

Phone calls and emails to that company have not been returned.

We will continue to push for answers, and we want to hear from you, if you've had any kind of dealings with Aranda Homes.
