LEE COUNTY, Fla.-- Lee County is keeping 4 shelters open who those cannot go home right now.
Germain Arena in Estero and Alico Arena at Florida Gulf Coast University will stay open.
Two more shelters are open-- North Fort Myers Rec Center, the other at Dunbar Middle School in Fort Myers.
People already in other shelters will not need to find rides- Lee Tran is offering free shuttles.
A man in Immokalee is also offering his air-conditioned gym as a shelter. He posted this on facebook earlier:
Displaced Immokalee/Estates Families. The MAFA gym in Ave Maria has AC and padded floors. If you are interested in sleeping here and have gas to make it feel free to call me at 954-299-8785.
