Here is your forecast for Thursday, November 20th, 2025.

Heads up for developing fog once again late tonight and early Friday morning before 9am. The greatest potential will be in wind-protected areas and inland, especially in Glades, Hendry and northern Collier counties, where we've dealt with fog the past couple days.

Visibility may drop to 1/2 a mile or less each morning through the weekend, where winds become calm overnight.

Morning temperatures will start off in the upper 50s and low to mid-60s. The afternoon will be mostly sunny and warm with highs climbing into the mid 80s, closer to records than the normal of 81°.

Temperatures will stay warm in the days ahead as there is no shift in the weather pattern anytime soon. This means the sunny, warm days continue through the weekend into early next week.

Unfortunately, we won't see a significant chance of rain in the 7-Day forecast. We need the rain as Fort Myers is 17.37" behind for the year. Punta Gorda is 12.57" behind and Naples is 7.06" behind.

Moderate drought has now overspread most of SWFL and will likely get worse in the coming weeks and months until we receive adequate rainfall.

Looking long term, we finally see a shift in the weather pattern late next week after Thanksgiving, but it won't come with a decent rain chance. A cold front will be moving through on Thanksgiving, and that should drop temperatures into the 70s for Black Friday into next weekend. We'll be watching!
