Here is the forecast from Tuesday, November 26th, 2024
High pressure is in control of our weather across SWFL, leading to calm, tranquil weather tomorrow and on Thanksgiving.
If you're hitting the road early, reduced visibility inland (near Lake O and along Alligator Alley for example), may cause some slow downs. Fog should clear by 9am.
Tomorrow and Thursday's forecasts are VERY similar to today. We will see mostly sunny skies with a light wind out of the east around 5 mph. Morning lows will start off in the 50s, but with dry air in place, we'll see another warm afternoon with highs in the low to mid-80s.
HOLIDAY TRAVEL FORECAST
HOLIDAY TRAVEL FORECAST: Great news if you or loved ones are flying on Wednesday! Weather is expected to be fairly tranquil for most of the country, only contributing to "minor" delays. (Volume and staff shortages are independent of this forecast.) pic.twitter.com/JouflZSt72

Our next cold front moves through late Friday, ushering in cooler temperatures for the weekend in the 70s. The coolest air will arrive on Monday with highs only in the 60s and Tuesday morning's lows in the mid-40s! It is possible that we will see upper 30s inland and north...brrrr.
