“It’s a Wonderful Life” is a classic Christmas movie that has been enjoyed for generations. This year, you can bring the 1947 film firmly into the 21st century bystreaming it for free via Amazon Prime. The streaming service even allows you to watch the iconic movie in color! For the purists, however, a black-and-white version is still available.

Even though I consider myself a Christmas movie connoisseur, I’ll sheepishly admit that I hadn’t actually sat down and watched “It’s a Wonderful Life” until a few years ago. I have to say — I definitely did not know what I was missing! If you’re like me and somehow thus missed the boat on this bona fide classic, snuggling up with a mug of hot cocoa to watch it on Prime is the perfect way to rectify the situation.
