Thanks for visiting my page! I’m Victoria Scott - your committed Arcadia, Englewood, and North Port Community Correspondent, as well as the surrounding areas in Charlotte and DeSoto Counties.

I joined Fox 4's team of journalists in January 2024, but the Sunshine State has been home for a long time already. Though I was born in Houston, I was "raised" by New Jersey, in Morristown, and I would soon find myself in college in Florida.

I started reporting on TV just seven hours up I-75 in Panama City, as a Multimedia Journalist and Fill-in Anchor for the NBC affiliate WJHG-TV. What kind of journalist am I? I find tremendous fulfillment in serving as a voice for the voiceless. I also enjoy covering politics and local governments; so it's no surprise that I graduated from Rollins College in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations. I also interned with The Hill in Washington, D.C. and worked for Fox Business in New York City. Mix in a Master's in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Miami, and here we are! (If you run into me on a day off, it is highly likely you will see me sporting the Orange and Green – lets go 'Canes!!)

My perfect day in Southwest Florida includes a stroll through Arcadia's historic Downtown District, and a visit to CoolToday Park in North Port. I also like to spend time with my family/friends, exercising, and trying out new places to eat!

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me when you see me working where you live. You can also send me story ideas (and your favorite restaurants) at victoria.scott@fox4now.
