LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Two people are dead after their car veered off of I-75 near Colonial Boulevard and crashed into an embankment.

Diego Lopez, 26, and Maria Miguel, 19, both died in the car crash. Their car veered off to the right, hitting a barbed wire fence. That sent the car flying into the air over a retention pond and crashing into an embankment.

A 17-year-old and 3-year-old suffered injuries, and a fourth adult passenger also has minor injuries.
