Heavy traffic expected over Valentine's Day weekend on Sanibel

SANIBEL, Fla. — Sanibel Police Department warn that based upon historical traffic patterns, the combination Valentine’s Day and Presidents’ Day Weekend they are expecting heavy traffic on Sanibel this weekend. The Sanibel Police Department wants to remind all residents and visitors to reduce congestion travel during peak times which in season are:

Sanibel Chief of Police Bill Dalton also reminds all cyclists to follow the rules of the road for safety, that all cyclists should always wear a helmet, and everyone (pedestrians, cyclists and motorists) should always follow the instructions of the Traffic Officers.
