The COVID-19 pandemic has posed special challenges to blood cancer patients. As a leukemia survivor, WWE superstar Roman Reigns knows how important it is for cancer patients to take extra precautions during this time to maintain their physical and mental health. WWE and Roman are proud to be partnering with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a global leader in the fight against cancer, at a time when blood cancer patients, their families and caregivers need support and accurate information now more than ever.
Last year, WWE and Reigns partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. “I know how tough it is to deal with cancer and I want to show people that even someone like me can be knocked down, but with the right treatment and support, we can get back up to fight another day. That’s why I’m so honored that WWE and I are helping The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society spread the word about the great work LLS is doing to find new and better treatments for kids and provide financial assistance to families struggling with a cancer diagnosis,” says Reigns.
Roman will join LLS President and CEO Dr. Louis DeGennaro to discuss the many ways LLS is continuing to provide free, one-on-one support and financial assistance, including the recently launched LLS COVID-19 Financial Patient Aid Program, during this challenging time.
