The landmark series is narrated by renowned broadcaster and natural historian Sir David Attenborough. Our Planet focuses on the remarkable diversity of habitats around the world, from the remote Arctic wilderness and mysterious deep oceans to the vast landscapes of Africa and diverse jungles of South America. In the first episode, One Planet, viewers will travel from the Brazilian rainforest to Norway’s Svalbard archipelago, discovering how each fragile habitat is connected and why they are all essential for life to thrive on this planet. Our Planet launches globally on Netflix on April 5th.

Jamie McPherson (One Planet, Frozen Worlds, From Deserts to Grasslands). Jamie is BAFTA® - and Emmy® Award-winning cameraman who has been working as a wildlife cinematographer for over 20 years. He has worked on many landmark series and films with the BBC Natural History Unit, BBC Earth, BBC America and Disneynature. Jamie principally works as a long-lens cameraman and is one of the world’s leading cineflex operators.

Sophie Lanfear produced and directed the Frozen World episode. As a wildlife filmmaker, she has worked on several series and Attenborough landmark series (Life Story, The Hunt). Sophie developed a passion for the polar regions while growing up in the Norwegian Arctic, and her knowledge of Arctic wildlife led to her taking on polar shoots when she began working in wildlife television.
