Dr. Mike Dow is a psychotherapist, author, and television personality. His second book, “The Brain Fog Fix: Reclaim your Focus, Memory, and Joy in Just Three Weeks,” is a New York Times bestseller. Dr. Dow uses his background in psychotherapy, behavioral science and nutrition to craft a book and articles on how diet affects the brain. Dr. Dow has made numerous appearances on “The Dr. Oz Show,” “The Doctors,” “Dr. Drew On Call,” “Wendy Williams,” “Rachael Ray,” “Access Hollywood Live,” “Anderson Cooper Live,” “Nancy Grace,” “Nightline,” “Fox and Friends,” and the “TODAY” show.
Dr. Mike Dow holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy and a Doctorate (PSD) in psychology and is registered with the California Board of Psychology and the California Board of Behavioral Sciences Dr. Mike Dow is a member of the California Psychological Association and its neuropsychology & clinical psychopharmacology divisions, the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, and the Society of the Advancement for Sexual Health. He has received post-doctoral education at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, completed training in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy MBCT, and completed the Betty Ford Center professionals in residence program. He resides in Los Angeles.
