Ashley Black Book 2/16/17

Posted
Ashley Black was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA) that would come in waves of debilitating pain throughout her childhood.  She spent her youth in and out of doctor’s offices and was told she’d need a wheelchair by age 25.   Determined this wouldn’t be her fate, she developed and enacted intuitive therapies to control her flare-ups and improve her health.

Years later, after the birth of her second child, Ashley contracted a deadly staph infection that threatened her life and her mobility.  Refusing to accept her fate yet again, she began using herself as a guinea pig and discovered that structural limitations in the body can be due to constrictions in the “sheets” of connective tissue – fascia – that connect, penetrate, envelope, and surround every organ, joint, muscle, and system of the body. Her unique insights contributed to the creation of a new realm of science: Fasciology™ – the study of fascia. To quickly and effectively access the muscles and joints beneath the layers of fascia, she created the FasciaBlaster®.

Women began to notice that using the tool not only relieved their pain, but also changed the appearance of their cellulite.  Medical experts agree that cellulite is fat pushing up through webbed fascia (like a pillow pushed up against a chain link fence), but until the invention of the FasciaBlaster®, the health, medical, and beauty industries were not focused on addressing the fascia to conquer the appearance of cellulite.

Her new book, The Cellulite Myth – It’s Not Fat It’s Fascia was born out of a connected and supportive Facebook community filled with women sharing their results and testimonies on their life-changing results in aesthetics, pain management, and overall health using the FasciaBlaster®.
