MIAMI, Fla. — Many people probably don't think about the food that is left behind after all of the celebrations.
In Miami, there is an effort not to let that go to waste.
Fox 4 caught up with Ellen Bowen of Food Rescue Miami to see what they do with all the leftover food from the super bowl festivities.
Bowen says distributing the leftover food serves many purposes, such as helping the environment.
One of the parties will produce approximately fifteen hundred meals for a rescue mission.
